Letter Grid Word Finder
Enter the letters on your board. The solver traces every path through touching squares and lists every valid word it finds. This edition uses a filtered word list.

Type a letter into each square, then choose Find words.
How the board is read
A word is valid when its letters sit in a connected chain of touching squares — horizontally, vertically or diagonally — and no square is used twice in the same word. That is the standard rule for Boggle-style letter grids.
Type a letter into each square. The cursor moves along automatically, so you can fill a whole board without touching the mouse. Then choose Find words.
Scoring
Most grid word games score by length rather than by letter, so longer finds matter far more than common ones:
| Word length | Typical points |
|---|---|
| 3–4 letters | 1 |
| 5 letters | 2 |
| 6 letters | 3 |
| 7 letters | 5 |
| 8 or more | 11 |
Results here are sorted longest first for that reason.
About our word list. Results come from ENABLE, a large open English lexicon in the public domain, with offensive terms filtered out. It is not an official tournament dictionary, so a word that appears here may still be challenged in competitive play, and vice versa.
Common questions
Can letters be reused in the same word?
No. Each square can be used once per word, which is the standard rule. The same letter appearing in two different squares is fine.
Do diagonal moves count?
Yes. Any of the eight neighbouring squares counts as adjacent.
Why does a big board take a moment?
A 5 × 5 board has an enormous number of possible paths. The solver prunes dead ends as it goes, but the search still takes a moment on larger grids.
Can I use it for word search puzzles?
Not really — word searches use straight lines only. This traces winding paths, which is the letter-grid game rule.
